sitting on the bed and going through the food; there seem to be two categories of snacks, things that are obviously for Devit and things that are obviously for Hakuren, being healthy and vegetarian. there's nothing very messy or anything that has a strong smell. FOR SOME REASON. also, glancing up at the books]

Your world sounds like fun! My world sucks! I'm not a psychic or anything so I don't know how stuff is gonna go. Maybe the Noah will call us back home, or maybe we'll break up, maybe Jasdero will get homesick, maybe the Earl will find us . . . [shrugs] I can't control that stuff, though, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
