OH YEAH. Last night after talking to someone I realized that I DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE A CRIT POST ANYMORE because it used to be housed on Tomo's journal and well lol. So here's a new one!

Crit policy stuff: I accept crit through basically any method you prefer. Anon or non-anon doesn't matter to me. You can comment on this post, e-mail me (halfcocked at livejournal, or monkeypop at gmail,), PM me on IRC (Devit), or comment to me in cfud_concrit. I comment there pretty much every week; I only skip if I'm very late to the post AND I didn't play much that week. My AIM is failnoah.

Comments will be screened here and anon commenting should be on, IP logging should be off. If you are commenting here, let me know whether you want your comment to remain screened. I WILL PROBABLY WANT TO REPLY TO YOU. And when I do I'll just rescreen them both, and then if you want to reply BACK you can do it in a new comment so it doesn't unscreen the whole thread. But I won't bother if you don't care/want the comments to be visible anyway.

The only thing I ask wrt crit is that you put up with my babbling a little at you. |D Please don't take this as like. "LET ME EXPLAIN WHY I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG." Because that's not it at all and I take everything into account, even if I don't agree with it. But I love talking about my characters and explaining their minds! And if something's wrong I like to know where it WENT wrong so I can work on that without worrying about stuff that . . . is not wrong. For this reason I like crit in PM, actually, but that makes it harder to be not anon and not everyone uses it anyway, so post/comment/e-mail are all equally fine with me. (Also with PM there's the chance I'll be busy.) I will probably be slowest about noticing an e-mail.

FINALLY, this is open to everyone! CFUD muns, non-players, and yes people from the Dressing Room too since I like to dick around there lol. You can also use this post to contact me in general if you have something uncritty to say or a question or want to say hi or who the hell knows. I dunno what you crazy kids do these days!

SO I AM ON THE WAY TO BED but I was having thoughts earlier so I wanna gauge interest :B

Devit's always been offlimits for body swapping before because of the many complications of it/the fact that it would have driven him insane, but boy is probably finally stable enough to come out of it all right, and I am interested in giving it a shot if anyone wants to swap with him!

BUT HERE'S THE CATCH. Bodyswapping with Devit will probably not end well for your character. He has a lot of mental and some physical problems which he's been living with for six years now, so he's gotten very good at being Mostly Okay. Without the benefit of that experience, inheriting Bondomu will not really be FUN TIMES.

Basically I am wondering if anyone wants to break their character a little. :B HERE IS WHAT DEVIT'S BODY COMES WITH:

1. a voice in your head telling you to destroy all of humanity and God
2. a Bond to Jasdero, who is not in camp, so it pretty much feels like he's missing half of his soul all the time
3. nightmares of the Apocalypse
4. periodic bouts of agonizing pain in his left arm and eye (from Innocence poisoning)
5. general decrease in empathy, increase in violence, and hatred of humanity

NOW I KNOW HOW Y'ALL LIKE HURTING YOUR CHARACTERS SO IF ANYONE IS INTO . . . PLAYING ALL OF THAT OUT, hit me up! Note that I have no idea yet when I am going to do this so that's flexible \o/ COULD BE SOON COULD BE IN A MONTH.

Here are some other things:

1. I would definitely prefer him to end up in a human body, the more normal the better
2. I'd prefer a male body unless it's a girl he knows well for Various Reasons
3. Someone who already is close to the cast/knows about the Noah would be pretty cool

But none of those things are necessary! THEY ARE NOT DEALBREAKERS though they'd affect my priorities yeah.

DEVIT HAS A NEW PROFILE PAGE HERE!

No translation yet but this means I need to update his stats because BREAKING NEWS! The Noah do in fact age because Devit has gotten taller! AWESOME.

So, I will probably update him in making him bigger but not in making him . . . crazier. Because at this point in CFUD I can't really reset him that way! So Devit is essentially canon-frozen unless I get canon that shows me he's playable as his updated self without me undoing three years of development. (See Shuri's translation of the sketch in the last post, about how apparently Devit and Jasdero have gotten scarier and darker and more dangerous since their fight with Krory lolol.)

But god he'll be so happy that he's aging. ftr his new height is 5'7" and his new canon weight is 117 lbs but he's gained more than that in CFUD ha ha. He's more like, let's say 130 lbs. Still underweight for his size but not by much, because he has a small frame.
