But I seriously don't even know where to start, or whether anyone cares. AKITO ASKED IN HER MEME, so I answered her, giving her the Cliff Notes version of what's been going down with him in the past two months. YOU CAN SEE THAT HERE.
So there is that. And if anyone has questions, GO ON AND ASK. I love questions! If anyone actually cares about these ~wacky developments~ then fire away and I will mini-essay at you about what happened and how and why. Likewise, if you have crit for me about anything past or present, you can do that here or in my crit post and we can talk. WHATEVER, WE COOL. I just, sob, I can't even fathom writing a whole essay about all of this because it would start pushing 10,000 words and just no.
The thing about all of this is that the motivations are like, AMAZINGLY SIMPLE, all of them, and that is sort of the breakthrough that Devit himself had that led to all of it: he finally realized that what he needs and wants in his life is to DO WHAT HE WANTS, BE LOVED, AND HAVE PEOPLE SEE HIM A CERTAIN WAY, and that it's actually very easy for him to take steps to make sure that happens, and the stuff that's been going on all leads to that. He has pretty much been stripping away his own guilt and issues and saying FUCK YOU to the baggage he's had for a couple years now. SO THAT'S NICE FOR HIM, and if you want to know more about it, LAY IT ON ME o/

So have a miniessay on something about Devit that comes up in camp a LOT and which isn't him disowning his family, but I've been meaning to ramble about it for a while anyway.

So Tyki is an awesome soul and is coloring sum Devit icons, and we were having fun messing with the skintone trying to get it right (PROTIP: EVEN HOSHINO APPARENTLY CANNOT DO THIS CONSISTENTLY). In a fit of love she produced this.

Now I have been thinking for some time that what Devit really needs is a new profile pic. I thought to myself, "Maybe I should use this one! But WAIT! I could make it even better!"

Then I thought to myself, "But DOUBLE WAIT! Why resign myself to my own limited reserves of creativity when I could tap the CFUD playerbase?"
So I offer you the DEVIT'S AMAZING PROFILE contest. Blingee the FUCK out of that picture, in the worst ways you can, and I will choose the MOST CHOICE BLINGEE MORSEL as his new profile pic. Your reward? Humiliating my character, and uh, I guess that's it, but isn't that worth it? I'll credit you too . . . if you want.

So fine. I love self-indulgent relationship stuff sob even though I still have other memes to get to. I WILL DO THAT THIS WEEKEND I PROMISE. She wrote an essay-thingie for me on Relationship Stuff and I did promise her to return fire, SO. She'll have something to read at work tomorrow and the rest of you can all totally ignore this, unless you're curious for God knows what reason. |D
A COUPLE OF LINKS FIRST: her essay is here. And Devit's first relationship meme reply for Hakuren is here. It's HUGELY LONG and explains a lot about how their relationship developed although I'll probably be sort of reiterating it here anyway. \o/
