I just can't figure you out! . . . I guess it's kinda chance, right? That we like each other and stuff. That's why I didn't like it when you were a kid. You didn't remember me! I could try and make friends with you again, but would it really work out that way? I don't even really get why you like me still. I think--you just like me because you do--but what if we had to start over, what then?

So if we had to start over, like we'd never met? That's hard to say. It's possible this could happen again, and possible it might not, but--I'd like to think we'd still be friends, even if we were never like this, in another life.

Yeah . . . I bet he'd freak out, some older guy hanging around all the time counting off his birthdays . . . I didn't even know what to say to him! I never told him I'm a Noah. Probably he would've hated me if he knew.
